How RJ Scaringe Raised Over $12.3B and Keeps Attracting Large Rounds

Colleagues, a quick note from the tech world: RJ Scaringe is once again attracting major capital.

Across three ventures—Rivian, Also and Mind Robotics—he has raised more than $12.3 billion. Mind Robotics just closed another $400M round; prior financings for that project included $115M and $500M rounds. Also has secured over $300M after an initial $105M raise in 2025.

Investors point to his blend of engineering expertise, product intuition and clear storytelling of vision as the keys to his success. At the same time, he is scaling multiple businesses in parallel and continues to form significant partnerships.
