Site names major services not offering passkeys

Colleagues, please note: a new resource in cybersecurity lists companies that do not support passkeys.

What happened: researcher Scott Helme launched whynopasskeys.com — a site that highlights services lacking passkeys; the project suggests roughly one in four major apps still do not offer them (e.g., Instagram, Netflix, Spotify).

About passkeys: they are device-generated, bound to the device and site, operate via biometrics or a security key, and provide stronger phishing protection than passwords.

Why it matters: broad adoption of passkeys would substantially reduce account compromise risks.
