ThreatsDay: Cyberattacks increasingly start with small weak points—from AI and email to browsers and bots

ThreatsDay: Cyberattacks increasingly start with small weak points—from AI and email to browsers and bots

Colleagues, I’d like to draw your attention to the latest ThreatsDay in cybersecurity.

The report shows the same pattern again: attackers are not looking for a “hack of the century,” but for a small opening—from stolen AI resources and LLMjacking to phishing tailored to the victim’s device and environment.

I’d also highlight the Apple Hide My Email vulnerability, BlueHammer-enabled attacks in ransomware campaigns, and new schemes such as ClickFix, with defenses already emerging, for example Paste Protect in Opera.

Why this matters: most incidents begin with trust in familiar tools.

Which weak points are raising the most questions for you right now?
