Google now uses your media for AI training by default: what you can turn off

Colleagues, here is a privacy update from the tech sector: Google has updated its settings, and saved media from Search-related services may now be used to train AI by default.
This is not limited to Search. The list includes images, files, audio and video from Google Search, Lens, Translate, Maps and other services.
What matters:
— Save Media is enabled by default;
— you can disable media saving separately;
— automatic deletion is available after 3, 18 or 36 months.
Why this matters: if I upload content into Google’s ecosystem, it may shape not only recommendations, but also the development of AI models.
