Claude Cowork launches on web and mobile: Anthropic bets on the AI agent for office work

I’d like to share a key development in AI and agentic assistants.

Anthropic has expanded Claude Cowork: it is now available on web and mobile for Max subscribers.

This marks a meaningful shift. A task can start on a computer, updates arrive on a phone, and the completed result can be reviewed later.
The agent works in the background and involves a human only when judgment or a choice is needed.

Anthropic says the most common use cases are business workflows, reports, checklists, spreadsheet reconciliation, as well as copy, presentations, and other materials.
Software development is not yet the leading use case.

Why this matters: AI is moving from chat into everyday office work.
