Senra raised $65M to modernize harness manufacturing for space and defense

Friends, I’d like to share a development from the hardware and space sectors.

Senra, a startup founded by a former SpaceX engineer, has raised $65M in a Series B round.

The company is not aiming to replace people with robots right away. Instead, it is standardizing wire harness production through Amp software, a digital twin, and partial automation.

Senra currently serves the space and defense industries, where even a single error in a cable system can be extremely costly.

Why it matters: these tools help reduce the risk of manual errors and make complex manufacturing more predictable.

What do you think: in industry, is automation needed first, or standardization?
