Colleagues, I’d like to flag a cybersecurity update: Google has introduced Gemini 3.5 Flash Cyber — a model for finding, validating, and fixing vulnerabilities.

A few points stood out to me:
• access is currently restricted to governments and trusted partners via CodeMender;
• Google is betting on a lighter, more cost-efficient approach for rapid code analysis;
• in tests, the model found more unique vulnerabilities than other Gemini variants and Claude Opus 4.6.

Why it matters: tools like this help defenders identify critical flaws earlier and ship patches faster.
