Why SOCs Need Multi-Layered Detections

Colleagues, I’d like to draw attention to a key cybersecurity topic.

Today’s attacks increasingly bypass endpoint- and malware-based detections. Adversaries use credential theft, DLL side-loading, and rapid post-compromise actions.

That is why I see real value in multi-layered detections and NDR. Network data helps connect signals from endpoint, identity, and cloud, validate an incident, and reveal the full attack chain.

AI in the SOC is effective only when it is grounded in high-quality data. Without it, false positives increase and context is lost.

Why it matters: richer telemetry means faster triage, more accurate investigations, and greater confidence in decisions.
