Substack now shows where AI may have been used in news and comments

Friends, I’d like to share a development from the AI and media space.

Substack has launched an integration with Pangram to show which parts of posts, comments and replies may have been written by a human and which by AI.

The platform does not ban AI-assisted writing, but it wants to give authors a way to disclose the process transparently and add an AI Author’s note.

Publishers can also pre-check drafts and contest false scans of their materials.

Why it matters: trust in content is becoming a competitive advantage, and transparency is part of the product.

What do you think: should AI-generated content be labelled by default, or should it remain the author’s choice?
