Claude shared chats appeared in Google: a reminder on public link risks

Colleagues, I’d like to highlight a cybersecurity case: Claude’s public links were temporarily accessible via Google.
According to users, search results included not only ordinary chats, but also Artifacts containing sensitive documents, medical data, and personal information.
Anthropic said links become visible in search only if they have already been posted publicly. Still, the case shows that “share by link” is not the same as “share securely.”
Why it matters: any public-access feature requires rigorous review, especially when customer, employee, or child data is involved.
Do you check exactly what you are opening via a shared link?
