OpenAI appoints Dali Rajic to lead its global revenue organisation

OpenAI has appointed Dali Rajic as Chief Revenue Officer, placing him in charge of its global revenue organisation as the company says its products now reach more than one billion weekly active users and more than two million businesses. The business customer figure is twice the level reported a year earlier.
Rajic joins OpenAI as enterprise AI deployment accelerates. The company says it brings together research, products, deployment and infrastructure to make AI more capable, affordable and broadly useful, and that it is now preparing to scale its commercial operations for the next stage.
A new commercial leader for the next phase
OpenAI said Rajic will build the revenue operating system needed to support this expansion. Greg Brockman, OpenAI’s President and Co-Founder, said the company is entering a compute-powered economy in which AI is becoming embedded in every workflow, and described the task as turning deployment lessons into repeatable execution.
Rajic most recently served as President and Chief Operating Officer at Wiz, the cybersecurity company recently acquired by Google. OpenAI said he helped establish the operating discipline and customer-focused execution behind one of the fastest-growing cyber companies. Before Wiz, he was President and Chief Operating Officer at Zscaler and Chief Customer and Revenue Officer at AppDynamics.
His appointment follows changes in OpenAI’s senior leadership, including Fidji Simo’s departure from OpenAI as the company continues to shape its strategy and operating structure. Rajic said he plans to build on the existing momentum and lead the revenue organisation as customers seek to realise the value of AI.
Dresser transition and go-to-market expansion
Rajic succeeds Denise Dresser, who helped build the revenue team during a formative period for OpenAI and the enterprise AI market. OpenAI credited her with strengthening relationships with major customers and establishing the commercial foundation for the current business. She will leave to pursue other opportunities after a transition period and will work with the business team to support customers during that handover.
OpenAI has also formed a strategic partnership with Chad Peets and RPT Partners to support its effort to build a world-class go-to-market team. The company presents the move alongside Rajic’s appointment as part of a broader effort to accelerate commercial execution.
What enterprise customers should watch
For organisations deploying OpenAI products, the leadership change puts added emphasis on the revenue and customer operations required to support large-scale adoption. Businesses evaluating AI providers should consider not only model capabilities, but also the quality of deployment support, customer engagement and the ability to deliver repeatable commercial execution.
