Synthesia bets not on video, but on measurable learning impact

Friends, I’d like to share news from the AI and corporate learning space. Synthesia is moving beyond video generation and launching Roleplay Sessions — a live coaching format with an AI avatar.

Now employees can practice difficult conversations: sales, performance reviews, and customer complaints. The avatar responds, challenges them, and, at the end, evaluates the outcome against a defined rubric.

What I find important is the shift from “creating content” to “proving that learning actually works.” For business, this is no longer a demo, but a measurable tool for developing teams.
