AI Stage at TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 targets pricing, security and GTM engineering

TechCrunch has outlined the AI Stage agenda for TechCrunch Disrupt 2026, taking place at San Francisco’s Moscone Center on October 13–15. Presented by Google for Startups, the program will examine AI pricing, enterprise security, visual intelligence and go-to-market engineering before an audience of more than 10,000 startup, technology and VC leaders.

AI is changing more than product development

As foundation models become commoditized, startups can no longer rely on model access as a durable advantage. Founders must rethink packaging, margins and differentiation while building sales strategies for products whose capabilities and operating costs can change rapidly.

Security is under similar pressure. Autonomous systems are making decisions inside sensitive enterprise environments faster than traditional controls were designed to monitor. The agenda reinforces the strategic importance of enterprise AI, while focusing on the observability, governance and architecture required to make deployments trustworthy.

Enterprise controls, video reasoning and a new GTM role

Databricks co-founder and field engineering executive Arsalan Tavakoli will explain how enterprises should separate defensible AI deployments from systems that create unacceptable risk. The session will address infrastructure-level controls rather than treating agent security as an additional software layer.

Decart CEO Dean Leitersdorf and Luma AI CEO Amit Jain will discuss the shift from visual demonstrations to real-time inference and physical reasoning. Clay CEO Kareem Amin will examine GTM engineering, a role that barely existed two years ago but is now producing independent businesses with million-dollar revenue.

Attendees will also receive access to the other Disrupt stages, Startup Battlefield, networking programs and the exhibition floor. For business leaders, the practical priority is to review AI unit economics, embed agent governance into infrastructure and establish clear ownership of AI-native growth before scaling customer acquisition.
